Interview tomorrow.

I've had one interview
I got a letter saying I wasn't needed because someone had more experience.
Called me today to come in for another interview

That sounds like a very good sign to me! Possibly a different position so they need to interview you again. Good luck!!

GOOD LUCK! I keep hearing things like "your experience is working against you"... How frustrating is that?!? Cant people look at it that I WANT to work... I have great experience... It will only make me that much more of a GREAT asset! bah!

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong but I"m doing something.

It's most likely not you, but the economy. With so many unemployed, employers CAN be picky and only take the EXACT employee they want(not all fair or even legal possibly) This could mean someone who is single, someone who is underqualified and can be molded into what they want, it could be someone with the exact degree or diploma or the exact right experience. Employers can be picky when the whole city is full of both qualified and unqualified workers.

I wish every company was REQUIRED to send a formal letter saying you did not receive the position and the reasons why or areas for improvement. I feel the phrases "we went with someone with more experience" or "we felt your skills were more than this position would utilise" are just cop outs. I want REAL feedback.

I hate the waiting. I'm waiting right now after my interview on Monday. How hard is it to make a decision? Must mean I wasn't impressive enough for an on the spot offer, they still want to play the field. ARGH!
